It has been a long, hot summer here in U,Brian and we have used many litres of water in our room coolers to keep comfortable. So this means dumping lots of plastic containers in our recycling bin or finding another use for them.  
some we use to carry water from the local water machine rather than buying more plastic bottles of water.  But still, we have quite a few left.  
So, since they actually do have the suggestion of faces I decided to decorate them and use as planters . 
The surface area is quite large so using acrylic markers for the whole job would have been pretty arduous and expensive.  Instead I sprayed the whole container in bright colours and then just used the acrylic markers to draw and colour the design.
